Objectives
- To facilitate trial placement by acting as a point of contact for sponsors from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors.
- To promote national and international clinical trial collaborations to attract increased investment to NSW.
- To promote the strengths and capabilities of NSW clinical trials researchers and service providers.
- To develop and implement strategies to improve efficiencies in trial management.
- To facilitate the development of networks in specific therapeutic areas to enable future trial partnerships.
- To raise public awareness of clinical trials through the provision of information.
- To promote the value of clinical trials and the contribution that they make towards the health of the Australian population.
- To facilitate and promote education in the area of clinical research to support the development of high quality clinical trials.
